Dr. Ioannis Diamantakos

Dr. Ioannis Diamantakos is a Mechanical Engineer with a PhD in fracture mechanics. He has over 25 years’ experience in analysis of structures, numerical modelling and experimental characterization of mechanical behaviour of materials and structures. He has been involved in numerous EU funded projects related to structural and damage analysis of aeronautical metallic and composite structures. He has also worked on the development and simulation of novel manufacturing processes, as well as on the field of bioengineering dealing with implants personalization. He is the author of 35 scientific publications in journals and conference proceedings.
