Dr. Konstantina Karagianni

Dr. Konstantina Karagianni holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece. For over 25 years she has worked as a free-lance engineer and she has been involved in various R&D projects in the University of Patras, Greece, as a research associate. Most of her work falls in the areas of designing application-specific digital architectures and application-specific parallel processor systems for DSP and control, computer arithmetic circuits, and development of methodologies for mapping algorithms onto parallel processing architectures. Her current research interests lay primary in custom hardware design for cryptography and AI. She is an author or co-author of about 20 journal and conference papers. She currently works as a collaborative researcher with the Industrial Systems Institute of the Athena Research and Innovation Center. She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
