Dr. Konstantinos Fotopoulos

Konstantinos Fotopoulos holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics (University of Patras) and a PhD in Numerical analysis of the mechanical behavior of composite materials and structures (University of Patras). Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher in Technology and strength of materials and a collaborating researcher with the Industrial Systems Institute, Athena Research Center. He has been involved in many European and national research projects related to the mechanical behaviour of metallic and composite structures. His main fields of interest include numerical simulation and analysis, experimental validation of computational models, composite materials and structures, impact modelling and experimental testing of composite materials.
