Mr. Dimitris Selis

Dimitris Selis obtained his engineering degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics Department, from the university of Patras in 2022. As of 2023 he is pursuing his PhD in the Signal Theory and Communications Department, Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in Barcelona. His diploma thesis exploited the concepts of cloud computing, crowdsensing and containerized microservices through data collection and processing using the Kubernetes platform. During his internship he gained valuable work experience as a developer at a Swiss health tech startup, where he contributed to the development of innovative software solutions. Dimitris’ research interests delve into resource management and allocation through virtualisation and AI/ML techniques for large scale elasticity in cloud computing.
