"Circular MineTech" is a DTL project designed to transform the raw materials (RM) sector in Romania, Greece, and Italy through advanced immersive learning courses. By utilizing VR and digital twins, to enhance recycling RMs in the whole value chain, forming a key pillar of the digital transformation in the RM sector and beyond.
During the Phase 1 period, the Consortium will develop comprehensive learning content and blueprints for a LLL educational portfolio . This includes delivering a pilot program as proof of concept, meeting critical milestones by the end of the funding period. The project will offer:
- An introductory course on Digital Transformation in Raw Materials.
- Advanced courses on Material recovering in a Virtual Dismantling Facility demonstrating the "circular RM and value chain" in the automotive industry
- Entrepreneurial education scope with market and sustainability assessment
MineTech emphasizes the importance of recycling, sustainable resource usage, and socio-economic and environmental benefits. By incorporating cutting-edge technologies (Digital Twins) with immersive VR , the project aims to improve resource efficiency , waste management and sustainability assessment. Additionally, MineTech seeks to foster partnerships with other industries to create synergies that enhance the RM-based circular economy. Through these efforts, MineTech will advance technical skills ,combined with entrepreneurial mindsets of learners across multi-sectors.
