The visit of the Deputy Minister of Development, Stavros Kalafatis, to the Industrial Systems Institute of the Athena Research Center provided an opportunity to be briefed on the Institute’s research and technological achievements, as well as their applications in businesses, organizations, and industry.

Advanced applications were also presented in cutting-edge areas such as Building Control Systems (IoT and Cyber-Physical Systems), Embedded Machine Vision for autonomous vehicles, Smart Cities, Smart Buildings & Smart Energy, Cybersecurity, Security and Privacy Protection, and Advanced Communications.Finally, special interest was expressed in Omnioc, the Institute’s new spin-off, which was presented during the visit.
