Dr. Eleni Paraskevi Paraschi is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Tourism Management of the University of Patras, specializing in Transport and Tourism Management. She has long-term professional experience in Air Transport, working for two decades in the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority. Her research interests focus on tourism and aviation, particularly in the areas of safety and security, crisis management, environmental performance, sustainability and stakeholder interactions. She has developed and registered the Airport Business Excellence Model (ABEM),™ a holistic model for evaluating airport performance, ESRAMTM, an environmental risk assessment framework and the Quality of Life Tourism Model (QoLTM) for the Greek islands. She participates in the European Network on the Impacts of Climate Change on Aviation (EN-ICCA) of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). She is a member of the Hellenic Aviation Society (HAS), the International Agency for Development and Sustainability (ISDS), the German Aviation Research Society (GARS), the International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE) and the EuroMed Academy. Her scientific work has been published in reputable scientific journals, such as Tourism Management, Transport Policy, etc., and has been presented at international conferences.
