He is a postdoctoral researcher. His academic background starts in 2012, with pattern exploration in social networks and data mining, and today he has focused on virtual and augmented reality and recommender systems. He has more than 30 publications in international conferences and journals, and has been distinguished in 3 innovation and research competitions: 1st Place Award: Apps4Greece – Thessaloniki Tourism Edition, Greece, January 2016 • 1st Place Award: 2nd International UBI Challenge, ACM MUM2013, Finland, July 2013 • 2nd Place Award: Tourism Crowdhackathon organized by SETE and supported by Google.
