I am a Technical Agronomist with a solid academic background and practical experience in Precision Agriculture. My journey reflects a strong commitment to data-driven methods, geospatial tools, and sustainable farming practices to enhance productivity, disease forecasting, and resource efficiency. I earned my BSc in Agricultural Technology from the University of Patras (former TEI of Amaliada), where I built knowledge in irrigation, soil science, agro-meteorology, and applied informatics. My thesis, “Analysis and Processing of Geospatial Soil Hydrodynamic Data using Algorithms in QGIS”, introduced me to GIS analysis and its applications in agronomy. Currently, I am pursuing an MSc in Precision Agriculture at the Hellenic Open University, focusing on remote sensing, GIS, and big data. The curriculum emphasizes integrating high-resolution spatial data with agronomic decision-making, allowing me to design effective, sustainable solutions for modern agriculture. Professionally, I have worked in both public and private sectors. My internship with the Geoinformatics Department of the Municipality of Patras provided hands-on ArcGIS experience—digitizing infrastructure, hydrological, and topographic data. I also attended seminars on drone applications in mapping, expanding my remote sensing skills. In the private sector, I worked as an Agronomist for the Yrmíni Strawberry Producers Cooperative (Feb–Dec 2022), handling quality assurance, disease detection (e.g., Sphaerotheca macularis, Botrytis cinerea), traceability, and supply chain coordination. I used the Foodcare Agrodata MIS & ERP system for record-keeping and compliance. Responsibilities included pest ID, cold storage monitoring, export tracking, and agrochemical procurement. I also supported the use of biological protection methods in integrated systems. More recently, at Labidino S.A. (Jan–May 2024), I organized field teams, monitored crop health, and managed irrigation and fertilization via the Foodcare Agrodata platform. I oversaw the release of beneficial insects like Phytoseiulus persimilis and Orius in pest control programs. I also delivered field reports and recommendations to senior agronomists, ensuring informed, timely interventions. I am skilled in ArcGIS, QGIS, MS Office, RStudio, Python, and SQL—tools essential for managing geospatial and statistical data. My blend of field experience and digital expertise supports practical solutions for precision farming and agronomic consulting. My goal is to help modernize agriculture through smart, sustainable technologies—empowering farmers to make informed decisions that boost productivity while protecting natural resources.
