Mr. Nikolaos Davanelos

Nikos Davanelos is a graduate of the Department of Physics at the University of Patras, where his thesis focused on handwritten signature recognition using space dissimilarity. He recently completed his Master's degree in the Department of Physics, specializing in "Electronics and Information Processing," and presented his Master's thesis titled "Learned Gradient-based Optimization for Symbol Detection." Since September 2024, he has been a member of the Industrial Systems Institute of the Athena Research Center. His main interests include signal processing, optimization problems, and machine learning.
