Mr. Panagiotis Tsiatsis

Panagiotis Tsiatsis is a Data Scientist with a Computer Engineering background (Dip. Eng., Computer Engineering and Informatics, Uni. of Patras, Greece, 2001 - 2006), experienced in Machine Learning and AI (M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence, Uni. of Edinburgh, Scotland, 2007 - 2008), Computational Neuroscience and Signal Processing (Ph.D. Cand., Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, Tuebingen, Germany, 2008 - 2012). His academic interest mostly revolves around brain-inspired computational architectures and he is grateful for having been awarded multiple scholarships throughout this pursuit. Professionally, he has worked for several years as a Data Scientist in the Shipping Industry and most recently as a freelance Software Engineer, developing PoCs and end-to-end systems for data-driven analysis and creative drawing, among others. Finally, he is an analog electronics enthusiast, plays the guitar in a rather unimpressive way and has been in awe of the work of Douglas Adams ever since reading page one
