Christina Katsini is a Usable Security expert and User Experience researcher at Human Opsis. She holds an Integrated Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering (University of Patras, Greece) and
a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction (University of Bath, United Kingdom). She is currenlty a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering (University of Patras, Greece).
Her current research activity focuses on investigating the effects of human factors, technology, and design characteristics on the password selection process and providing design solutions for user authentication
schemes which offer both increased security and usability. She has published her research in international scientific journals and proceedings of international peer-reviewed conferences.
She has experience in designing, developing, and evaluating interactive systems; she has facilitated several stakeholder workshops and user testing sessions and has experience in reporting research results at high
level standards. She has worked on EU and nationally funded projects. She has won awards in research-and-innovation contests and her research work has received best paper awards.
Christina has been a member of the interdisciplinary organizing and program committees of both national and international conferences. She was a member of the Standing Committee of New Technologies, New Materials, and
Technological Education (2017-2019) of Technical Chamber of Greece / Regional Department of Western Greece.
