Ms. Evgenia Psarra

Evgenia Psarra (jennypsarra@unipi.gr) is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Piraeus and an Adjunct Lecturer since early 2024, as well as a Researcher at the Athena Research Centre since September 2025. Additionally, she is a Ph.D. holder (2023) and a graduate of the Informatics and Communications department of the University of Piraeus (2017). Her postgraduate studies are in the field of Geoinformatics in the National Technical University of Athens (2019). Her research interests include: i) decision-making and optimization algorithms, ii) privacy-preserving Natural Language Processing, iii) fine-tuning Small and Large Language Models for named entity recognition, information extraction, sentiment analysis, and mitigating web attacks, and iv) advanced Access Control and Data Protection mechanisms in cloud-based and AI-driven systems.
