Ms. Sofia Sakka

Sofia Sakka is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of Ioannina. She holds a Master’s degree (2021) in Informatics and Networks from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of Ioannina and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Patras (2016). During her Ph.D., she is conducting research on cryptographic protocols for user authentication through biometric data. Her research interests focus on Privacy Enhancing Technologies in IoT (Internet of Things) environments, cryptographic tools for biometric data management, authentication protocols for Wireless Sensor Networks, and blockchain technology.
