JustReDi: Resilience, inclusion and growth: towards a fair green and digital transition of the Greek regions


The project focuses on (a) the evaluation of the current status in Greece, (b) the recording of opinions, attitudes, value orientations and behavioral predispositions of both the general public and individual social groups, (c) the provision of technological solutions and tools to support policy proposals (data-driven policy making), and (d) the content of public policies regarding the positive and negative impacts of the green and digital transitions on individuals and households in businesses and the economy in general in processes of planning and implementation of sectoral policies, so that the digital transformation and the green transition will be realized with equity, resilience, sustainabilty and social inclusion.

The main objectives of the project concern the following:

  • Collection and analysis of primary data.
  • Processing of secondary data.
  • Utilization of common research infrastructures.
  • Mapping of areas that are cumulatively or differentially affected negatively/benefited by the green transition and the digital transformation.
  • Identification of professionals’ groups and economic sectors that are cumulatively or differentially affected or benefited by the dual transition.
  • Detection of education and training needs with respect to digital and green skills.
  • Creation of an observatory of key indicators of the Green and Digital Transition and convergence with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Creation of a digital portal with map and other data to help take targeted public policy measures.
  • Drafting of public policy proposals for the green and digital transition.
  • Efficient and effective dissemination of research results.
