SOSVITI: Sustainable Soil Management Decision Support System in Viniculture

Description The degradation of soil resources poses a significant threat to agricultural sustainability and food security, particularly in viticultural regions across Europe. Soil erosion, nutrient depletion, pollution, and loss of biodiversity are among the pressing challenges faced by vineyard owners, managers, and policymakers. Addressing these challenges requires a multidisciplinary approach that integrates scientific research, stakeholder engagement, and technological innovation. In this context, this project seeks to advance our understanding of soil degradation processes in vineyards and develop innovative solutions to promote sustainable soil management practices.
